Ghost Town
On the other hand, what I like my music to do to me is awaken the ghosts inside me. Not the demons, you understand, but the ghosts.
Music should be ghostly. Lingering, its presence should be felt and held onto, remembered vividly and with a sense of deep mystery. It should remind us of feelings maybe not ready to leave.
Ghost Town by Fireside Shadow is something punky, yet 90’s alt rock influenced, with other elements across the audio landscape. The vocals are powerful and music is a little mysterious and haunting. The production really lends to the emotive power of the overall track. The lyrics paired with this music make for a perfect cinematic effect that could easily be part of a movie and with the right imagery it could really provide for a strong emotional response. This music is not typical but atypical in the great sense. Listen and learn what Fireside Shadow is sharing with her audience. My only critique would be that I would want to see a larger catalog. With music like this it leaves you wanting more.
