Arizona has recently joined the progressive group of states that are no longer punishing their citizens for using a medicinal plant. The logic of punishing someone for using a harmless plant in their own free time is absolutely maddening. But as Arizona joins the rest of the compassionate world in legalizing what should have always been legal the infamous plant continues to have artists celebrate it and create anthems in its honor.
The track features well known artists from the State of Arizona that are well known in the battle rap circuit and in the music scene. Danny Fatt and Derez make their mark with this track, the beat is infectious and has a laid back composition that is similar to the herb anthems of the West Coast. The two emcees approach the beat with a unique style/cadence and lyricism, but with a dynamic that is catchy and complimentary to each other. Not all weed anthems are equal and this is a solid showing from the two rappers that should keep the track in rotation throughout the Southwest.
